Casey's Candy Depot is situated along the route of the old Doty Railroad, and the building has been renovated in the style of an old depot. The Doty railroad was a narrow-gauge line that came South from Kansas and reached Casey in mid-1880. It ran to West Liberty, Illinois for a total distance of 57 miles.
Owners of Casey's Candy Depot are Dave and Bev Liebenow. Dave is on the Big Things in a Small Town Committee and also works closely with Casey Industries.
Hours at the Candy Depot are Thursday - Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Sunday noon - 5:00 p.m.
